One of the main reasons that case studies are ideal teaching methodology specifically in Business Studies is the wealth of practical, real life examples that can be used to conceptualize the theoretical concepts.

Case studies are a useful pedagogical tool. It is an interactive strategy, shifting the emphasis from teacher centered to more student centered activities resulting in development of key skills such as communication, team work and problem solving. Considering its importance and to further motivate the students, Department of Management Sciences.

COMSATS University has taken a leading role in organizing the first Business Case Competition in Islamabad.
